Financial Hardship Policy

The Telecommunications Consumer Protections Code C628:2019 defines Financial Hardship as a situation where a customer is unable to discharge of the financial obligations in relation to our services due to a reasonable temporary or ongoing cause but where the customer expects to be able to do so over time if payment arrangements are changed.

Estimating Data Usage

The following are estimates of data usage undertaken from the following activities.

Billing & Payment Information

  • Billing Options – TechRentals bills monthly, period ending the 28th . All bills are sent to the contact email address
  • Payment Options – You can pay your bill via the following methods:
  • Automatic Direct Debit – Can be set up to any Credit or Debit cards, or standard bank account    
  • Phone – Payment accepted by credit card over the phone
  • By EFT – TR Telecom’s bank details appear on your monthly invoice

Call Plan Termination
 
Services will only be terminated when the customer notifies TechRentals to do so, and will be terminated from the end of the month when notification is received. Early exit fees may apply if you are terminating a service within the contract period. To confirm your early exit fee please call 1300 550 014 during office hours or email us here: satellite@trtelecom.com.au

Provision of Services

The following terms and conditions apply to individuals and entities (the Customer) using communication services, including but not exclusively Iridium Satellite Communications Services, and associated equipment provided by TechRentals, a division of TR Pty Ltd, (ABN 99 005 499 721) a company incorporated in Victoria, Australia.
